Introduction
By now you have probably realised that speech in texts can be used in many different ways. Sometimes it is used in speech bubbles like in comics or graphic novels. Sometimes the author doesn't use the inverted commas but uses the single quotation marks (Like in 300 Minutes of Danger). Remember last week's book about Danger Dale where the author didn't use speech marks at all!!
Today we are going to read a picture book by the well known children's author, Aaron Blabey (Remember Pig the Pug?). It is his latest book called, Piranhas Don't Eat Bananas.
