Last week we concluded our reading by learning that Father was taken by the Gestapo right in front of the two children. We were left wondering what was going to happen to them and who was going to look after them.
We also learnt that Fumiko was more committed than ever to search for information about Hana, especially to find out what she looked like. The parcel of drawings by Hana was a wonderful addition to things they had already received. |
